Juicing Beginner

I’ll start by confessing I know the bare minimum about juicing. What I do know is you put the fruit/veggies in the chute and watch it work it’s magic.

With that said, here’s to my second time juicing.

These are the ingredients I used today: Apple, peach, orange, blueberries, strawberries, carrots and celery we added later.

This machine really is awesome. You put the food in and watch it work. Simple as that!

A friend of mine told me her parents put the pulp through the chute one more time to get any left over juice out. I’m going to try that tomorrow!

Judah approves! He likes to make juice a couple times a day.
Tried feeding the pulp to Ezra. He wasn’t sure of it but ate a few bites!

My verdict is if you haven’t tried juicing, you should! There are so many health benefits to it and it really does give a natural boost of energy throughout the day.

Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes

When you’re in the mood for something sweet but don’t want sugar. Try these coconut oil cinnamon sweet potatoes!

Two large sweet potatoes sliced 1/4 inch thick. 2 tablespoons of softened coconut oil smeared on each slice. And shake what your momma gave ya with as much cinnamon on those potatoes as you like!

Bake for 30 minutes at 400°F. Turn over halfway through.

Helpful tip: Make sure you coat both sides before putting in the oven!
